I have been an artist and a photographer for many years (in my spare time) - primarily focusing on beautiful scenery.

I always preferred to use minimal special effects in my photography and tried to capture the final images in the view finder.

I've also photographed much of my fossil collection and a lot of my artwork for presentation on my other website  -   www.dreamworlds.org.

Recently, I started looking for models so I could add beautiful people to the surreal landscapes that I paint and photograph.

I have found that the process of photographing various models for the poses and lighting studies I need is fun and rewarding by itself.

It did take a little while to shift from getting people out of the scene to making people a primary focus - and then learn to better capture the subtle nuances of their forms and expressions.

 
Now I take pictures of beautiful landscapes and beautiful models, paint scenes and otherwise capture images of things I can't find in nature and then combine them all in Photoshop or in a painting.

These new composite artistic creations, as I complete them, will be displayed on the Digital Images page.

Scenery pictures will appear on pages by location:   Florida, Montana and Ireland are now being filled with images.
  
And images of the various Models I work with are starting to populate their own pages.

I also do a limited amount of Portfolio Building and Portraiture.

I recently published my first book  -  Calcite Clams of Florida   -  and have more fossil and photography books on the way.


Okay, enough about me, I have to get back to work figuring out how to accomplish my next projects.
